The former garage with a storage room on the ground floor of a two-storey residential building has been converted into a comfortable small apartment for one person or a couple. The previous space was divided into two large rooms and one small bathroom. The back room had a connection to the apartment above via stairs.
During the renovation, the stairs were removed and the passage was closed so that the garage space became an independent unit. The back room has been converted into a bedroom, and the front into an open space of the living room, kitchen and dining room.
As the only source of natural light, the front garage door has been replaced with a glass wall. The living room is separated from the street by a narrow windshield with wardrobes.
