House Four Terraces

Four terrace house was designed at the top of the hillside in order to open to the south and west. The west side has a direct access to the grass plateau while the south side overhangs the slope. Deep terraces and a flat roof above them create a deep shadow of the enclosed space behind.
The clients idea was a raw concrete structure, so the facade walls are covered with concrete finishes over thermal insulation. The interior is also designed in untreated concrete and barnwood laminate floors with several walls accented with natural stone finishes.
Residence is designedas an open-space. Only the toilet on the ground floor and the bathroom on the first floor are separated. On the first floor there is a public space: entrance, living room and kitchen with dining table, and on the second floor a more intimate space of the bedroom and work area with library.
The house has 53.22 m2 ( 573 sq ft), without terraces. With terraces its area is 81.55 m2 (878 sq ft).
